Hi! My name is jazz and I’ve been working paid childcare for about 6 months. I’m currently working through the YMCA childcare program with kids ages 5-12. I also have some prior experience in highschool being an outdoor education leader for classes of 5th grade students. I did this voluntarily, but also for a class credit. I was a highschool leader for 4 semesters and took probably about 15 different 5th grade classes up to the mountains of Boulder CO and lead them through outdoor education activities for two consecutive days at a time. I also have prior experience mentoring 7th grade students while I was a senior in highschool. Children always tend to gravitate towards me as I am friendly, caring, and super approachable. My current position though requires me to ensure the safety and supervision of children before school 6am-9am and after school 2pm-6pm. However I am willing Read more to drop either shift for a better opportunity. I am very responsible and sensible for my age and I can guarantee I am a great candidate to be considered. My current position is not offering as many weekly hours as I would like so I’m looking to make a little extra money on my off time or completely switch jobs for a better opportunity. :)
