I have recently left my career in education. I have been a special education teacher for 8 years with the last 4 years in leadership which included managing my special Ed department. I have worked closely with SLPs, OTs, and mental health providers which has provided me with knowledge and tools when working with children. I have experience in child development, social emotional learning, and academic achievement. As a parent of a 1.5-year-old daughter, I practice gentle/conscious parenting. I incorporate Montessori and developmental appropriate play into our day. I am looking to watch 1 other child in my home, along with my daughter. The benefits of this would be dedicated and 1:1 attention to you child and individualized schedule, along with social play. We have 2 very friendly dogs that keep to themselves. But they can be locked up most of the day.
