Hello! My name is Nera and I recently moved to Denver from the New England area and am seeking a nannying opportunity with a kind family. I am a caring and patient person and love both working with and adovcating for children. I would be excited for an opportunity to help your child learn and grow, at whichever stage of life they are at. Within the last year and half, I worked as a caseworker for the Department of Health and Human services, where I advocated for child safety. As a part of my position, I worked closely with children from ages newborn-18 and strived to improve not only their lives at home but to also advocate for their health, wellness, and education. Throughout this time, I provided neccessary and basic child care (changing diapers, providing meals, bringing children to neccessary appointments, and being their emotional support). I have worked Read more with children with a wide array of behavioral challenges and needs as well. My favorite part of my job was helping families to reunite, strengthen bonds, and seeing children happy. Additionally, during my time in college I nannied for a local family in Maine for 1.5 years. My responsibilities included providing neccessary child care, playing with and engaging the children in ways that would help them learn both intellectually and socially, supporting with school work and activities and preparing meals and assisting with houehold cleaning as needed.
