Meet Delaney

Hi! I'm the eldest daughter of six siblings, so caring for kids has been a big part of my life from an early age. I started babysitting when I was just 7 and taught myself how to cook at 10 to help support my family. Those early experiences shaped me into a patient, responsible, and nurturing person—and they’re a big part of why I genuinely love being a sitter. I’m currently a self-supporting astrophysics student at CU Boulder, and over the years, I’ve worked extensively with youth in both educational and advocacy roles. Whether it's helping with homework, making healthy meals, or simply offering a reliable, kind presence, I find real joy in supporting kids as they grow. I also have strong awareness and sensitivity to disabilities and allergies. Growing up with friends and family members with disabilities taught me to be compassionate, attentive, and respectful of individual needs. I Read more also manage my own food allergies, so I’m very familiar with how to safely care for kids with dietary restrictions and medical needs—always with caution, communication, and care. I’m especially skilled at creating calm, engaging environments for children of all ages. I’m a strong communicator, a good cook, and always attentive to each child’s unique needs. I believe in showing up with kindness, structure, and a little creativity, and I’d love to bring that energy to your family!
