Hello! I moved to CO and my license and some of my documents still show my CA residency which has caused some confusion for documentation. Please contact me for the full background check report that SitterCity ran which calls out this confusion. My expertise is with: newporn/infants, toddlers and early elementary age. Most of my consistent experience was with 1 family with 4 little ones. Over the 6 years I joined their family, I was with them as they transitioned the eldest to sharing their parents and welcoming 2 more additions to the family! At the end, the children were ranging 2-8 years old. From watching the children learn to crawl/walk, helping them learn to ride a 2 wheel bike, how to share and even potty training - the whole experience is amazing. I realize that the younger ones are still experiencing things for the first time so I make it a point to marvel at the little things. (: Keeping the child safe is the number 1 priority. When I say no to something I explain why so the kids understand it is because I care about their safety. I have aided in the following things: Potty training, prepping & feeding meals/bottles, tantrums, teaching manners & the art calming down when upset, bath time, bed time/nap time, learning to walk, talk, tricycle & bike ride, reading, amusing park trips, and etc. I currently work full time as a project manager and miss being a nanny! I’ll help out with friends at work when they need and wanted to start babysitting in my off hours again! There is something so exciting and fulfilling about helping a child see/understand the world around them as well as seeing the world through their lens.
