My life has been full of children of all ages. I started babysitting infants and children for several families on my street at age 13 I have a teacher degree, and have been a special education paraprofessional for 17 years (6 in Mesa County sch dist). This has given me experience working with kids needing unique individualized guidance, which is true of every child! I am creative and can help your kids build a blanket fort, paint a picture, practice math, put on a play, or learn a couple chords on the guitar. I am also currently CPR certified. I like to have some daily structure, with lots of room for flexibility, spontaneity, and laughter. Kids energize me and I cannot think of a more positive way to spend my time than guiding them to grow their minds and hearts!
