Hi, my name is Melissa. I have always loved kids so naturally I started babysitting with a friend when I was 12 years old. I now have about 15 years of childcare experience. I started nannying for the first family I ever babysat for who had 8 year old twins and a 10 year old at the time right after high school. I was with them for about 6 years all through college until the oldest started driving and my school schedule would no longer allow it. She has said I was the most reliable nanny she ever had. Since then I've had a family member refer a friend of hers to me who needed some help with childcare and that has led to more and more referrals including my current regular nanny job. I am also ServSafe certified so I can assure you I will serve your child's food safely. I love being a nanny and babysitter because I love working with kids. They bring so much joy and wonder to everything. I find this job to be very rewarding. I believe my patience makes me a great nanny/babysitter. I also have a fun silly side to my personality that kids love. Through my experience I have also learned to be creative and resourceful in situations as needed.
