Hello! My name is Jasmine :) I have a big heart for kids and have been working, paid and volunteer, with nursery through elementary aged kids for the past 13 years. I love getting to connect with each child I interact with through creative ways. One of my favorite things about babysitting is getting to explore and see the new world in new ways. I love climbing trees, playing on playgrounds, being outside in nature, reading, origami, and learning new things. I am often described as a grown up kid by my friends. I currently serve at my church as the Children's Pastor, overseeing the nursery and elementary school ages. I have a lot of experience working with different ages and kids with different needs. I have partnered with an organization that serves and loves on kids with special needs since 2017. For the summer (3 months) of 2017 I Read more worked at Camp Paha in Lakewood which is a day camp for kids with special needs. I received special needs training from them and through another organization called QJoy founded in Boulder, but I have no formal education working with the special needs community. I have a strong desire to continue to learn and grow. I want every kid I interact with to feel seen and loved. I hope that is what they experience at the end of each day.
