Having spent the last 20 years as an elementary school teacher in Connecticut, I am very qualified to care for young children, and I enjoy spending time with them. I am a very capable, healthy, and responsible non-smoking adult. I am also CPR certified for adults, adolescents, and infants. I own my own reliable vehicle and have a clean driving record, so I would also be able to assist with picking up your children from school or after school events. I enjoy biking, tennis, skiing, and golfing, and I also like to sing, play the piano, and play board games and card games. As a matter of fact, when I come to care for your children, I will be bringing a large bag of "kid favorite" games. I know many vacation properties don't always come equipped with age appropriate games for younger children, so I have my own collection to Read more share. I am also a mom, so I am very patient and experienced at caring for infants and toddlers and doing all the things moms do like shooting hoops in the driveway, putting on band-aids, cheering children on at special events, and caring for the family cat or dog. I would likely be able to accept your offer on a moment's notice, so don't hesitate to call on me for a last minute event or date night. I would be willing to travel out as far as Vail West or Aspen, or any places in-between including Avon, Edwards, Eagle, Glenwood, Carbondale, Basalt, or Snowmass. Tammy watched our 2 year old for three days while we were on a vacation in Copper Mountain. We have used a few different sitters on that vacation and she was the best by far! NOT a kind of sitter that spends time on the phone while your kid watches too much TV. She was very engaged: building forts, doing online music class, taking him out to the village to play in the snow/ice-skating. She was really wonderful!
