Hi, I'm Melanie, and I am 18 years old. I absolutely love kids and look at babysitting as a time to take care of, spend time, and play with little ones. I am the oldest of three kids in my family and have always been the one to take care of and play with my younger cousins (ages 8 months -13 years). I have found that I really love to connect with kids, and when playing with them, I become a child myself, without losing responsibility and leadership. I also have lots of experience going into kindergarten through third grade classrooms and helping out with kids and teachers. When I am watching over kids, I don't like to use television or video games as an "easy" source of entertainment, which includes myself (I won't be using my phone unless absolutely necessary).
