My name is Katie Smith, I'm 36 years old. I've watched kids since I was 15 years old. I enjoy spending time with children, going for walks, spending time with animals, I love being outside in the sunshine. Summertimes I help my husband farm blackberries so it may depend on our crop to know if I'll be able to babysit for that part of summer or not. I'll let families know ahead of time. My family and I used to have a small rabbitary with 30+ bunnies, my daughter grew up raising bunnies she's also helped bottle feed them when she was little. We've hatched ducks, and chickens this is a new adventure for us last summer. My daughter is 10, she has an interest in genetic makeup and the pairing of color combinations in furs and feathers. She loved hatching her chicks and ducklings. She loves science related learning. Read more She adores little ones and likes to help babysit when she's home from school. My stepson is 14 1/2 he's usually only with us in the summertime and every other Christmas. He's a very energetic busy teenager, he likes working with his dad on projects, most of the time he enjoys helping his dad. My husband works at Leroux Creek Foods on Roger's mesa. He's kinda of an all around guy he fixes things, welds, works in the orchard, builds fences and works on the equipment. I've been a stay at home mom since my daughter was little. I've babysat for several families over the years. The two kids I babysat last year went off to preschool. I enjoy taking kids outside to see our animals, sunshine is good for all of us, we have some books and toys, I love reading with the kids and going on walks.
