I’m fully vaccinated and certified in adult, child, and infant First Aid, AED, and CPR. Working with kids has been a part of my life for years, and it’s something that truly fills me up. I believe childhood should be full of curiosity, creativity, and connection, so I love planning activities that spark imagination while also holding space for kids to just be themselves. I follow a child-led approach, which for me means tuning in to each little one’s energy, needs, and rhythms, and letting them guide our time together. As a full-time student, I’m available for date nights and occasional sitting. I have cared for many children in the past. As an adult professional I have the ability to care for children day/night and over the weekend. Hello, my name is Kenzi and I am currently attending CU Boulder. I have been working with kids since I was twelve. I’ve worked with dozens of families with kids between the age of 12 weeks to fourteen years old. In the last five years I have worked between preschools and being a caregiver for a kid with special needs. In total I have about eight months as a full time preschool teacher, and almost two and a half years as a part time caregiver. When I’m not at work I live to explore the outdoors, do arts and crafts (absolutely love doing them with the kiddos) and enjoying quality time with those I’m closest to.

I have always had jobs centered around child care ever since I was about 14. I started out babysitting for family friends, then worked at a pumpkin patch, coached soccer and volleyball, tutored, worked at a church nursery, taught preschool, and 1st and 6th grade. I am pediatric first aid certified and just finished my masters program for elementary education, and I am now pursuing my phd in special education.
