Hello! My name is Kylie. A little bit about me: I have four dogs (who I love so much!!). I love taking my dogs outside, to different parks, or to go swimming in lakes, or rivers! I enjoy doing arts, and crafts such as, scrapbooking, painting, writing, etc. I have three years experience as a sitter, and nanny for ages 6 months-13 years. I also worked in a preschool, as an assistant teacher for two years, primarily with ages 1-3. I do have my own car, and am a non-smoker. I have two years experience with potty training. I also have experience in teaching basic Spanish, and sign language (I am not fluent in either of those, but can teach basics). Experience with math, science, and sensory activities for younger children. Also, I have two years experience working as a senior caregiver (experience with Alzheimer’s, dementia, mobility assistance, etc), as Read more well as pet care (all pets!), and experience with developmentally delayed adults (I worked in a day program for adults with developmental disabilities, and was also a job coach for them as well). Additionally I have worked with developmentally disabled children, such as having Autisum Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, etc. In 2021, I volunteered as a peer mentor for adults with eating disorders in recovery. Lastly, I worked as a Behavioral Health Counselor in the child, and adolescent ward at an eating disorder recovery hospital. From working at the recovery center, I have gained much knowledge in mental health, such as eating disorders, and mood disorders, and crisis training. I also have my QMAP certificate (qualified medication administration person), making me able to pass and administer meds at places such as nursing homes. I also have my CPR/AED/BLS/First aid certificate. In conclusion, I have a wide variety of experience including child care, retail, pet care, senior care, respite care provider, job coaching developmentally disabled adults, and mental health.
