My name is Jennifer, I am the owner/operator of A Place Like Home which is a state licensed in home child care located in Johnstown. I have been open since September 2014. While I offer full time and part time care, I also offer hourly rate drop in care. Drop in care can be utilized when you have a few errands to run, you have an appointment to go to or you want to have lunch with your friends. I have 8 years of experience working in an in home child care setting. Before opening A Place Like Home, I worked as a 911 dispatcher for six years. I am currently enrolled in school to obtain my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in preschool/toddler and infant education. A Place Like Home has a lot to offer! We participate in daily curriculum with weekly themes. Children are Read more fed healthy meals (Breakfast, AM Snack, Lunch, PM Snack) based on the USDA food guidelines. We spend time outside every day (weather permitting) and this summer we're going to do water play days twice a week!
