My love for working with children began in high school when I worked at a daycare for 4 years. As time went on I was able to continue to gain experience through summer camps, and being the director of an after school program where I began to work with integrating special needs students with the general population. I then transitioned into working at a youth mental health treatment facility where I was trained in Trauma Informed Care to support the growth and development of our clients. I was able to work with our Autism Specific Unit on a regular basis in addition to the other age and gender specific units. Currently, I am a behavior therapist part time and completing my master's degree. I am looking to supplement working part time.
