I am currently a student-teacher in a 3rd Grade Classroom at South Lakewood Elementary. My internship is through Western State Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado which I will graduate from this coming May. I have wanted to be an elementary teacher since I was in middle school. I absolutely love children and have always wanted to be a positive influence in their lives. Currently I am working with a class of 25 students ages 8-9. I am in school Monday-Thursdays 8:00am-4:00pm. I would love the opportunity to make money spending even more time with children, given my internship is not a paid internship. My past experiences also include I did 100+ hours of community service working in an elementary Sunday School class throughout high school, I have spent time in two different kindergarten classrooms, and am currently in a third grade class.
