I have been an elementary school teacher for 10 years, both in Chicago, IL and currently in Leadville, CO. I have worked with children of all ages and have years of experience working in educational/school, summer camp, and home settings. I am CPR and Wilderness First Aid certified, and hold a Colorado teaching license. I have a depth of knowledge about child development, the science of reading, and age-appropriate activities for children ages 0-12. I love spending time with children; in addition to my work at the school I mentor two local kids through Leadville's Full Circle program. I enjoy taking kids outside, doing art projects, and encouraging the love of reading. I am looking for some extra money (mostly to supplement all these friend weddings I have to get to this year!), so am primarily looking for Friday or weekend hours.
