Cherie initially really impressed us and communicated very professionally with us. We were excited to move forward with her to take care of our 4mo son which is a pretty big deal for us as first time parents with such a little guy. It was my first week back to work and we were all set to go with Cherieto be our regular nanny; we offered to pay for a practice day with her where my wife and I were available the whole time to help and support with anything she may need. Cherie was pleasant during this time, making conversation. Baby had a bit of acid reflux and even though he didn't cry much we offered support by encouraging her to take a break from eating and engage in another activity with baby. Cherie left telling us that she would see us the next day on our start date. 15 minutes later she texted us saying it wasn't a good fit. When we asked for feedback she never responded. When we offered to have a conversation and asked if she could still cover a few days as we worked to find a new nanny she completely ghosted us. Needless to say it was an incredibly stressful first week back at week scrambling to find care and trying to get back in the swing of working and performing at the job. I was shocked by the huge lack of professionalism and in my opinion even a lack in human decency as she left us in a really bad place without even being willing to have a conversation about it. I write this to hopefully help other parents not end up in the same unfortunate and stressful position.

Cherie was incredibly responsive and I was extremely impressed with her during our phone interview. Unfortunately, she did not end up sitting for me due to unforeseen circumstances but I would reach out to her again if I ever have a need.

Cherie is an absolute Godsend. The end. :) On a serious note, we have five kids ages 3-7 adopted out of foster care with trauma and/or special needs. Our first summer M-TH nanny quit after two hours, having also taken on a baby without telling us and being overwhelmed. Our second nanny quit after 8 days. Our kids are a lot and require consistency which others haven't been willing to do, thinking they know better than the parents, and then get overwhelmed when it doesn't work and they lose control. Cheri has been our Friday nanny and came with great references. I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful she is. Even with the kids being overwhelmingly a lot, she handled it better than anyone we've ever had, including other family. She has experience with foster kiddos and it shows. She is firm, but loving, consistent with the schedules and boundaries the parents have set, plans fun events for the kids with all the patience in the world, and is really just delightful. When our second nanny quit, Cherie picked up days her schedule would allow to help us out and has always been a listening ear for our hardships with the kids and our journey. She's always on time and dependable and trustworthy as the day is long - and the kids love her. She's become a good friend to us too. :) She's also done several date nights for us getting the kids in bed and aslseep, which is no easy feat I assure you. She's our go-to for watching the kids day or night. We always ask her first. :)
