Hi, my name is Liz :) I'm an older sister to 2 brothers and a proud god mom to my little cousin. I currently work in mental health (an eating disorder treatment facility), and while I am usually assigned to the adult unit, I always enjoy being floated to the kids unit. I'm starting medical school this July and am considering pediatrics. My experience with babysitting started in high school. I babysat on the weekends in college, and when I was back on the East Coast for graduate school, I worked a couple of nights a week caring for a newborn 0-3 months. I am CPR certified. I've been complimented on my patience and compassion; it helps me in my current role and in engaging with children who are just learning about the world, themselves, and how to handle their big emotions. A little bonus is that I did my Read more masters in Human Nutrition; I'm passionate about the power of food. As a result, I'd be more than happy to prepare and or encourage nutritious snacks and activities while babysitting. I currently work 3 12s but am PRN so I can pick my schedule.
