Hello parents! My name is Chloe and I am 19 years old. I just returned to Longmont after living abroad for the past two years. I am a singer songwriter who loves reading books, folk music, and traveling! I also love kids, being silly, and playing games. I have several years of experience working with children. I spent this past academic year as an au pair in Paris. I spent every day teaching English and caring for a three year old boy in the heart of the city. Before that I lived in a town outside of Paris and I looked after my 3 younger cousins (ages 5, 9, and 13) very often and I assisted them in their English coursework and well as math, reading, and writing for the youngest. I have worked for a nonprofit for many years that has allowed me the opportunity to become a camp Read more counselor at many international children's summer camps, because of this I have experience working with kids aged 10-15. I have experience teaching, planning activities and games for various ages, and being in charge of large groups of children (10-50 kids). I have lots of food service and retail experience as well, which has left me with various skills like managing money, people, and food. I have studied French at two different language institutions in Paris and plan to study for an undergraduate degree in psychology starting this fall. I am healthy and have been in quarantine since returning to the United States 3 weeks ago. I am very flexible in my schedule and can start working immediately. I really love working with children, I find it to be very rewarding and an excellent experience for growth and learning on both ends.
