Hi, my name is Sara. I just moved to Montrose with my husband and 2 dogs to be closer to family and to buy our first home. My mom was a licensed child care provider within our home for 20 years, I’ve been around 4-10 children under the age of 4 on a daily basis, almost my whole life. On weekends I babysat for those same clients and neighbors. From 2006-2010 I worked with an Autistic child after school M-F for 4 hours. We completed homework, played instruments, played baseball, basketball, soccer and would go on walks at the park or mall. I love the outdoors, I love hiking and sports. I like all things art related, crafts especially! I do not like staying inside watching tv. I do not utilize social media or watch the news. I have no idea how Twitter works. I love animals and pets. I Read more am very organized and like to tidy up, deep clean and help others get organized. My friends call me ‘Safety Sara’ because I’m constantly pointing out safety concerns and hazards. I strongly believe in clean food and only eating foods you can pronounce the ingredients in. Meal prepping is fun to me. Cooking is fun to me. I can’t bake to save my life however. I have been in the natural foods industry since I was 16. With this move, I’d like to slow down and focus on working with children and doing something I enjoy. To sum it up, I adore kids, I love pets, safety is my number one priority, I enjoy cleaning (and cooking!) and I believe no day should be wasted in front of a screen.
