I have babysat my entire life it seems! I started babysitting when I was about 11 years old and continued off and on as a teenager. I have no official certifications for babysitting, though I am s mother of an 8 year old daughter so I definitely have daily experience as a caregiver. I used to work at the Colorado Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer in a mental health unit for 3 years before deciding to pursue my passion for helping others and quitting to go to college for psychology. Working in that environment definitely teachers you how to manage many types of people from their day to day needs to their mental health and crisis needs. I am currently about to obtain my Associates in Psychology this May.
