My passion for caring for others began when I was rather young. My extended family is large so we always had small children around; it just became second-nature for me to be holding newborns to playing with the elementary-age kids. Along with the big family, I grew up in a very small community (around 5000 in the whole county!) I started actually babysitting when I was 13 and cared for several families throughout high school. In college, I studied Social Work with the intent to work with children and teenagers. I have about two full years left of school but I'm currently putting that on hold for a couple years. My previous work experience in daycare facilities consists teaching and caring for ages 6 weeks to 7 years for almost 2 years. I was certified in First Aid and CPR through Red Cross of Nebraska. These certifications have since expired Read more but I am wanting to re-certify myself ASAP. A little about me: I just recently got engaged in January after to moving to Pueblo last April to be closer to my fiance's kids (10 & 13) who just moved the year before. We will be in Colorado long term so I am available for some time to come. :)
