I have been a nanny for the past year and I love it but I only work in the mornings. Previously, I worked as a substitute teacher during the school year and I spent my summers being a camp counselor. Because of these experiences, I have earned certifications in many different fields. I have been certified in archery, high ropes training, team building, paddle boarding, kayaking, biking, canoeing, water safety (in natural bodies of water and pools), first aid, CPR, and a multitude of random safety courses. Not all of these certifications are still valid as they require money and need to be renewed every year, my First Aid and CPR certifications are valid. :) As a substitute teacher, I am used to being flexible and staying calm in stressful situations. Once, I had a choir class of 54 high schoolers all by myself. Working in education, preschool to honors classes, has also given me a better grasp on what each grade is learning. I graduated with high honors and have a passion for learning. I love to read, write, do math and science. I would love to help your kiddos out in any of their studies. (Or “not teach them anything” and just casually implement learning into our activities, lol). I have always enjoyed my creative side. In my free time, if I am not camping with friends, I am making arts and crafts, painting, singing, or finding anything to do with my hands. I am not a great artist but I believe that anything that makes your heart full is worth doing. I believe that everyone should be treated with kindness and equality. I want to give your children the same respect that I believe I deserve from them. I hope to help them grow into their weirdest, kindest, most authentic selves.

Hello! I'm Lany, nice to meet you! I’ve been working with young children for over ten years. I was an infant/toddler teacher for a few years before the pandemic hit, a playroom facilitator at a gym for 7 years, and over the years I’ve provided babysitting and nanny services to families in my community. I have training in infant/child CPR. I just received my bachelor's degree in psychology with a concentration in child and adolescent development. I also hope to pursue a master's degree in mental health counseling and work with children and adolescents, or become a school counselor. I have the most experience with infants, but I have experience working with toddlers, preschoolers, pre-k and older. I look forward to meeting you and your wonderful children!

I have credentials through PDIS to be alone and running an infant room in a childcare, and I have experience taking care of 5 babies by myself for multiple weeks, as well as secondary experience with older preschool ages. I am in the active process of getting my EQIT Certification. I am Certified in CPR and First Aid, and I have no pet allergies or medical conditions. My best available days are on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. I have classes on Tuesdays and Saturdays so I am unable to work those days, and my availability on Wednesdays and Sundays vary.

Hello! I’m a responsible, attentive, and caring sitter who loves connecting with kids and misses my 2-year-old nephew back home. I have experience as a babysitter at my mom’s workplace with kids 6 years+, volunteer counselor/coach with kids 6-12 years old, and favorite aunt with my now-toddler nephew. Additionally, I tutored elementary and junior high-aged students in my latter two years of high school. In FAA-regulated flight attendant training, I was certified in First Aid, Basic Life Support, CPR, and AED usage as well as successfully passed curriculum covering safety and security. I also find peace in tasks such as cleaning, organizing, folding laundry, etc. I’d be honored to cultivate a fun and comfortable environment for your kids and build the mutual respect and trust the little ones deserve! Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. I aspire to relieve any stress I can for parents and guardians and attend to your family’s needs. Finally, I would prefer jobs that allow me to bring my hypoallergenic dog, Halo. She is 3 years old and 38 pounds, house-trained and very well-behaved, and loves kids, dogs, and cats of all ages and sizes. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to speaking with you soon! Fun facts—I have my own SUV, a membership at the Denver Zoo, and I studied abroad outside of Paris so I know some French!
