I have an undergraduate degree in psychology (minor child development) from Regis and a masters degre in Social Work from the University of Denver! I have held various positions as a palliative care social worker, County Caseworker and teen pregnancy counselor! Before getting my Masters degree I ran an in home licensed daycare for ten years! When I was a Caseworker I struggled with the fact that Colorado does not have enough foster homes! I often could not find a home in which siblings could be placed together. For this reason my husband and I decided to become certified foster parents! Over the last two years my husband and I have fostered 7 children!
