Hi my name is Rhya and I’ve been working with children over 20 years now. I started as a kindergarten aide when the kids were small because it just fit my schedule. I ended up loving it. I found a position as a assistant teacher at Julia Day Nursery School in Ansonia where I worked for the past 16 years. Unfortunately, I had to leave that job as I was unable to meet the physical requirements. I really miss it and the children. I’d like to still work with children but in a little less demanding way. I have a CDA credential and some credits in Early Childhood Education. I’m first aid and CPR trained and have done ongoing training over the years.
