At the age of 13 I became a mothers helper for a family I soon babysat every summer for several years. While I knew I loved working with children, they only confirmed my love of caregiving. From this experience I found several other babysitting jobs with whom I am still in contact with today. I truly enjoy watching the young children I watched for so many years grow into the young adults I always knew they'd become. One family that stuck out the most to me was one who had a five year old autistic son. My love for babysitting only grew working with this child and to this day I strive to help children with special needs. From a young age I knew I wanted to work with children, because they show you what's truly important in life. Working with kids will continue to be one of my favorite Read more past times.
