I am the oldest of four children. I am 24 years old and my youngest sibling is 8 years old and has cerebral palsy. Aside from the numerous babysitting/nanny jobs that I have had since I was 15, I have also taken care of my siblings my whole life while my mother was hard at work. I have experience with young boys and girls, babies, toddlers and teens. My special needs brother has taught me patience and responsibility. I am completely comfortable with handling whatever comes my way, and I currently work for South Street elementary school as a Special Education tutor. Prior to that I worked in the school system for a before and after school program with At-Risk-Youth so my experience is extensive. I have a BA in sociology and have extensive knowledge on the human condition which additionally adds to my understanding and compassion for children.
