Hello! My name is Emma Deneen and I graduated from Elon University with a BA in psychology with a focus in childhood development in 2018. For the past two years I have worked full-time alongside graduate school for a nonprofit in-home trauma intervention program for infants aged 0-5 and their caregivers. I have extensive training and experience in parent-child attachment theory, prenatal and child development, behavior management, psychotherapy and play therapy. Previously, I worked in an elementary school as a special education paraprofessional and I have had over 15 years of experience babysitting and nannying children of all ages. I am very comfortable with babies and toddlers, as well as older children, and am well versed in feeding, safe sleep, changing/potty training, and the importance of maintaining routine and structure.
