Hello, my name is Brianna & I am 24y/o! Before turning 16 I made money to help my family by baby sitting kids of all ages for teachers who needed child care. I spend a few years working at a pottery/ art studio in Glastonbury Ct where I host birthday parties & camps for ages 3-14. I also love animals! I grew up with multiple dogs & am now a dog foster! ❤️

I am very passionate about children. I am open to all ways of parenting and together we can take the best care of your child. I have over 25 years of experience working with all ages. I am very flexible with my schedule. Looking to build that special bond with your family. I provide care in my Ellington home. I can do PT/FT, summer, daily, occasionally and overnights. I have a safe, quiet neighborhood with side walks. I like to go for walks and play outdoors. I have lots of balls, bubbles and chalk. I have a huge yard for the kids to play in. I have a water table, 2 swingset and sandbox. Inside I have a clean home with a bonus room full of toys, books, puzzles, trains, trucks, blocks, kitchen items and other activities for them to play with. I have all infant items needed here to make your child feel at home. I have separate cribs/beds/cots for each child. I keep a daily journal as to what and when your child ate, slept and diapers/pottied plus any other important information. I am a non smoker and have 2 tiny dogs. I am a mom of 2, ages 21 and 23. I have several references if needed. I am reliable, responsible, dependable, trustworthy and patient. Please let me know how I can help you.

I really appreciate Kristin's flexibility with my schedule. This was my son's first time at a sitter that wasn't a family member. We are new to the state so it was important to find someone we both felt comfortable with. My son really enjoyed her kids and I would think to thank them for entertaining him. I would definitely use her again and recommend if you need a reliable sitter.

As a childcare worker for over a decade I started off working in Windsor Public Schools as a Before/After School Program Leader along with working as a STEM teacher in summer camp. Next I worked in daycares as both a Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher and as Floating Teacher. Most recently I was a Math/Reading Interventionist, giving individualized and small group instruction to children struggling academically. I also have experience with special needs children and providing ABA play-based therapy to children with autism. Although I’ve had many different roles in the early childhood field, the times where I feel most fulfilled are when a family reaches out to me and entrusts me with the responsibility of caring for their children in their home. I am a mother to my 5-year-old son, so I know firsthand the fear that comes along with searching for someone safe and qualified. I love being able to provide peace of mind to other moms like me and I look forward to helping support your family too.

Mia worked with our family for a little over a month and was consistently helpful, reliable, and attentive to everything we asked of her. Our 8-month-old daughter had only ever been cared for by my husband and me, and was understandably hesitant with someone new. Mia showed incredible patience and persistence, gently building trust and adapting to our baby’s needs with care and sensitivity. We truly appreciated her calm presence and dedication, and would absolutely welcome her back should we need additional support for our baby and/or toddler in the future.

We have absolutely loved having Kai provide care for our 18-month-old daughter. For the first couple of weeks, our little one was really nervous and cried a bit, but Kai was patient, gentle, and understanding. She allowed our daughter to lead the way and to engage at her pace and her comfort level. It didn’t take long for our daughter to warm up and look forward to Kai’s arrival each morning. I really appreciated Kai’s focus on learning as she was always teaching our daughter new things (ex: letters, sounds, basic sign language), keeping her engaged, and spending lots of time exploring outdoors. Kai has super positive energy, is very attentive, and clearly cares deeply about the kids she looks after. The only reason we’re not continuing with Kai is that my role was recently eliminated and so I’ll be at home with our daughter, otherwise, we’d absolutely keep working with her! We highly recommend Kai to any family looking for someone reliable, caring, and trustworthy to provide care for their child/children. Kerisha

Josan is absolutely wonderful! She has such a warm and friendly demeanor, always displaying kindness and care. Her vast experience with children and adults with special needs is truly impressive. My daughter, who is on the autism spectrum, connected with Josan effortlessly, and we are so grateful for that. Josan kept in touch with me regularly, giving updates while she was with my daughter. She sent photos and messages, and asked insightful questions to enhance her understanding and build their relationship. We feel incredibly fortunate to have Josan in our lives! <3

Wemily was wonderful for caring for our newborn daughter. She would come at night so we could sleep. She was very well in tuned with the cues that my daughter gave overnight, and made sure she was working on independent sleep. She gave us full reports in the mornings on how everything went overnight. She was also excellent at communicating with us!

With 25 years experience in education and care if infants and youth, I have always enjoyed watching them grow and learn. Kids share the best stories, make the sweetest and funniest comments about the most random things, and have unique perspectives that are so valuable. My experiences are not limited to but include the following: feeding schedules, transportation to school/activities, nap routines, soothing to sleep, homework routines, enjoying those teachable moments, and just plain following their lead from taking a walk looking for leaves to building the tallest tower of blocks. I have flexible hours and can work with your schedule. I am certified in first aid and CPR with reliable transportation. I have worked with a family with two young children, one from 4 months old until she was until 2 1/2. I also helped with the baby since he was born, taking over completely when he was about 4 months old. I look forward to hearing more about your children and family and working together.
