I have always loved being around children. I have been a babysitter since I was a teenager and I am looking to get back into more spending time with kids as a side job. I have babysat children of all ages from infants to tweens. I also frequently take care of my older brother who is severely disabled with a lot of medical problems. I also worked for the Center for Students with Disabilities at the University of Connecticut for three years. I grew up with nannies and the relationship I have with one of my nannies is still strong. She was with my family for ten years and my relationship with her is one of the most valuable relationships I have. I would like the opportunity to not only take care of a child but get to know a family. I can help children with homework if need be. I work as an archaeologist during the summertime.
