I am currently working full time at a Hospital and am looking for a part time weekend job. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old and have loved every second of it. My first babysitting experience was with a boy who was diagnosed with down syndrome. I watched from the age of one to five. On occasion, I'm able to go and see him voluntarily due to the amazing bond that was created. While watching him, I had the pleasure of working alongside his therapist who helped him in areas that were needed. Such as cooperative play, listening skills, gross motor skills and so on. I have also watched children that have ranged from the ages of 2 months all the way to preteen years. This isn't just a job for me, but more of a passion. I love working with kids and creating long lasting bonds. Read more My goal is to stimulate them as much as possible without the use of TV or electronic devices, although I am not totally opposed to those sorts of entertainment. I am very comfortable with pick-ups and drop offs and also have a very reliable car. I drive a car that is fully insured and has total roadside assistants (if ever needed). I am very self-sufficient, so whenever there is free time, I do look for things to do such as tidying up, light cleaning and organizing. I am looking forward to making new memories with a great family who is looking for someone long-term.
