My career in childcare began when I was just fifteen. I was a local sitter on weekends and I volunteered as a math tutor for 3rd, 5th and 8th grade students at a local school during the week. During college, I spent my summers working at an overnight summer camp for inner city youth. I also volunteered as a part time teaching assistant in an elementary school near campus. To earn extra money, I became an occasional sitter for three families in the fairfield / southport area.
