Seeking: Part time nanny position T/TH available 6 a.m.-6 p.m. I am a mother/teacher/nanny with over 25 years of experience caring for children from newborn through teens. I am also a recently retired teacher. My passion is working with children. Ever since I began babysitting in my teens, I knew my calling was to work with children! I follow parent's instructions/schedule/discipline procedures. I spend time with parents prior to the start date to learn your parenting style, expectations, and children's routines, so the children have consistency. I am the ultimate Mary Poppins! The children and I engage in singing, playing, reading books, arts and crafts, drama, sports, creative play, exercise, playing school, outside activities, playground fun, library outings, playing small percussion instruments, computer skills, homework, tutoring, etc. I enjoy putting joyful smiles on infant’s faces, giving hugs, and being part of their crawling, talking, and walking milestones. I check for spiking temperatures, dirty diapers, burping, rashes, etc. I love helping toddlers and older children discover more about themselves and their surroundings. Daily, I bring a fun Mary Poppins bag of fun activities, small instruments, books, beanie babies, toys, crafts, games, etc. that add more fun and enrichment to their days. Most importantly, parent’s wishes, hopes, and dreams are met! Also, I am willing to help with light housekeeping, laundry, cooking, pets, etc. so you can spend quality time with your children when you return home. In addition, I am a very active person! Your children will have to keep up with me! I enjoy biking, daily Bowflex exercise, cooking, reading, gardening, walking, playing musical instruments, singing, pet sitting, and family.
