Ever since I was a child, I have always loved taking care of people, kids especially. When I was in high school I did a fundraiser raising school supplies for a low-income school and volunteered to work with them. In the past, I volunteered at my local church at home, working in the nursery. Recently, I have been volunteering my time at Ellsworth Elementary School assisting a first grade classroom, and I absolutely love it. I have been babysitting since I was ten years old. I have three nieces and nephews that I have cared for since they were born. The past two years I've worked at a summer camp working with autistic children and first-graders. Currently I'm getting my education degree at Western Connecticut State University to teach first grade.
