Hey There! My name is Coco and I am both a recent college graduate of UC Berkeley where I studied Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Decision Theory and a Once-Nanny/Babysitter/Tutor with over five years of experience. I started babysitting when I was in middle school when I watched over my neighbors' kids on the weekends. From babysitting in middle school I moved on to babysitting on weeknights and spending my summers as a full-time nanny. At that time, I have spent time running pickups, going to doctor's appointments, and all different types of nanny-tasks. Given the fact that I dedicated my time in college to grinding through Berkeley math, tolerating all that the program had in store, I definitely think I showed my love of math, and with that love of math, I have spent time tutoring kids on all different math subjects. In addition to my academic tutoring, Read more I also worked as a Consent Workshop Facilitator, a role in which I created educational modules that taught college students about the subject of consent. I spent my time having to create an ongoing dialogue with groups that reach over sixty students at a time. I should also say, as someone in the queer community, I understand the importance of having adults present that get what it is like to be growing up as a kid who is queer. There are already so many pressures that kids face these days, and not feeling understood in terms of sexuality, gender identity, etc. should not be one. I, myself, did not have queer adults/role models in my life growing up, nor did I have supportive adults in my life in general. I know the importance of being understood, which is why I would make a great caretaker for this pod! I have held a lot of different roles and I believe all of which will help inform me I can best help you all with what you need out of a Nanny. So with all of that, I hope you consider all that I have to offer. And I hope that there's a future where we can work together!
