I am an 18 year old college student who attends University of Rhode Island as a (soon to be) declared Psychology major. All my life I have been involved in sports from horseback riding, lacrosse, and field hockey which have tested and strengthened my abilities to balance different aspects of my life. In high school I juggled field hockey in the fall and lacrosse in the spring, in addition to school, family, and friends as well as other extracurricular activities. I believe these experiences have made me eligible and able to babysit, because I am able to handle situations in an orderly and fast-paced manner. I have been told all throughout my life that I have a very strong work ethic with determination and an ability to stay focused, all while handling the situation with care. It may have sometimes gotten tough, but juggling academics, sports, friends, and family have Read more made me the person I am today. I can now say that I am responsible and able to multitask at whatever is put in front of me. In the past I have worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at Gray Friesian Farm in Easton, Connecticut. Here I looked after up to eight or ten kids a day for up to six hours. I taught them safety around horses, made sure they were always with me, and facilitated different learning activities all while still making sure they were all having fun.
