My name is Martha I have 4 grown children and grew up with 8 siblings. I worked in banking before I had my children. When they were old enough I decided to look for a school job this worked well for me because I was also helping to take care of my parents. I then worked for Fairfield School lunch service for a total of 9 years. My first 6 years were at the middle school level and then I was transferred to elementary for my last 3 years. Fairfield schools decided to out source their food service and we were all laid off. The new company hired us but at the time my mother became very ill and I chose to stay home with her. Unfortunately my mother has passed and the school has no current openings. In talking with my children about the future and where I should Read more go from here. My daughter said I should stick with child care because In her opinion that's when I was happiest. She is so right during my days of working with the elementary school children I felt like I smiled all the time. I have patience and am very dependable. So I wish to presume a career working with children.
