Hi, my name is Rebecca Sanchez. I recently moved to Connecticut from NYC with my family. I love to read during my spare time and I also love to cook. I also secretly like to build Legos! I graduated at Hunter College in NYC with my Bachelors in Adolescent Education with a focus in English. I have been babysitting on and off for about 10 years, also I learned the most valuable skill anyone can learn, to be a parent. I am a mommy of two boys, a one year old and eight year old. I have experience in teaching and caring for newborns to 18 year olds. With my skills that I have learned in education I can teach almost anything to children such as how to write, count, spell, read, and simple math and Spanish. I have worked with with teenagers in various NYC high school and I have also Read more worked in a Montessori Preschool with toddlers as head teacher. With that I have a vast knowledge of taking care of little ones. I have done everything from creating and facilitating a curriculum to every child's need and growth. I created crafts, experiments, exercising, games, aided in potty training, and teaching important milestones. I am comfortable caring for any child at any age. I believe I have a lot of patience and I always make sure that kids are enjoying themselves and learning something new every day. There are many jobs out there, but the only job I enjoy and comes second nature to me is taking care of children. I do have a 1 year old baby that I would have to take with me to the job if that is not a problem. But since I have worked in a school for many years I am able to give my attention to many children at once.
