Hi, I'm Jahdaia. I'm a kind, compassionate, and caring person. Growing up my mom had her own home daycare, so caregiving has always been a part of my day-to-day. So, naturally, I turned to childcare as a profession at the age of 15, and l've never looked back. My background caring for infants, toddlers, and youth started when I started babysitting for multiple families in high school. As soon as I graduated, I upgraded to working in a summer camp with preschool age, elementary and middle school aged children. That same program turned into an after school program for the same children during the school year. Shortly after, Covid began and caused me to stop working for a while. In august 2020 I began working at a daycare center. Now I currently work for 2 families as a nanny during the weekdays and babysit as needed for several families. I Read more earned my associates in liberal arts and I’m currently working towards my bachelor’s degree in psychology- mental health. My dream is to work in an elementary or middle school and a school counselor.
