Hi! My name is Shania Claudio, and working with children has always been a huge part of my life—and something I’m truly passionate about. I’ve had the privilege of working with kids in many different settings, and I can confidently say that caring for children brings me real joy and fulfillment. I started my journey as a school bus monitor, where I helped keep students safe, calm, and happy during their rides to and from school. Many of the children I worked with had special needs, and that experience taught me a lot about patience, empathy, and how important it is to make every child feel seen, heard, and supported. I learned how to handle challenging situations with care, and I took pride in making sure each child felt safe and respected. In addition to that, I’ve worked closely with preschoolers, kindergartners, and 1st through 2nd graders, both in school Read more settings and through personal babysitting experience. I love helping young kids learn and grow—whether it’s reading stories, playing games that spark creativity, helping with homework, or just having fun in a way that supports their development. I always aim to create a warm, engaging, and safe environment where kids feel free to express themselves. I’m a very caring and patient person, and I naturally connect with children. I take the time to really listen to them, understand their needs, and build a relationship based on trust and kindness. I believe in gentle guidance, positive reinforcement, and giving kids the space and encouragement they need to be themselves. One day, I hope to have children of my own—but for now, I treat every child I care for like family. Babysitting isn’t just a job to me—it’s something I genuinely love doing. I take it seriously and always strive to give the absolute best care possible.
