I’m a 23 year old student studying Early Childhood Education (about 2 years in now!) and am currently employed as an assistant/floater teacher at a childcare center. I have been interested in switching things up so that I may direct more energy towards one child as opposed to 20. I have a year of professional experience working with toddlers to preschool age, and many more years babysitting at home. I prefer to take a minimal-screens approach and instead try to help children develop an appreciate for arts, literature, music, and enjoying the natural world around them. That doesn't mean I'm boring though; all of these things can and should be learned through play! Outside of work, I am a full-time dog and rodent dad, and love to spend time with animals. If you've got a furry friend that needs a walk or some playtime, that's no problem at all. I Read more have 2 years prior professional experience in pet care as well. CPR, AED, and first aid certified, as well as vaccinated. I choose to be car-free.
