I have always loved children. I started babysitting in my neighborhood when I was ten years old, became a live in nanny while doing my graduate work at UCONN, and was a public school educator for 12 years. I mainly taught first grade teacher, both also taught 6th grade and at risk students K-6. I did this both in California and later Avon, CT, and only stopped when I became a mom to my own son and daughter, now 7 and 4 years old.
