I'm a mom of 2 college-aged kids who are now just about fully on their own (Software Engineering and Pre-PA majors. We moved from Guilford, where I lived for many years, to Killingworth, at the end of 2023. Prior to becoming a mom, I babysat for many years, since I was a teen, so I have a lot of childcare experience and I absolutely love kids. I run clinical trials as my day job but wish I’d gone into teaching instead. I love doing hands-on, interesting things with the kids, like I did with my own, whether it’s a craft project or a cool science project—-anything to get a child intrigued in something academically at a young age. When my kids were young, I used to volunteer, as much as I could, in their classrooms, and also coached sports when they were little. I was involved and intend to be Read more that way as a babysitter with your kids. I’m happy babysitting for all ages and can help with everything from potty training to homework, to making sure they do their chores, to preparing meals, and can drive them to/from activities or friends’ houses. We have dogs and cats so I’m fine with pets as well. I’m available most weeknights (usually after 6pm depending on location) and weekends. My rate is flexible for the right job, but I only accept cash. No pay apps. I look forward to meeting you and your kids.
