I am a retired educator. I am current on all immunizations, flu shot, and all CDC recommended vaccines and boosters. Can readily provide any/ all references from prior longterm positions. Prefer proximity to Litchfield, pet free (preferable, but, not mandatory) Patient, resourceful, creative and enjoy reading, crafts, walks and playing, singing and constantly talking to little ones, reinforcing skills, most definitely nurturing. Know milestones and cater to physical, social- emotional and cognitive development of child. Energetic and in excellent health. Flexible, resourceful, calm and would not turn on television or be distracted by phone ( except for contact with parents) Prefer a very part time position, on call and fairly close to Litchfield. In addition to providing care for my own grandchildren I have spent the last 3 yrs prior to and through the pandemic caring for infants to 2 yr olds with much success or no instances of illness Read more due the fact that I have been careful and conscientious for myself and the young families. Ideally, one day a week for an infant and could assist with household chores like baby laundry, correcting papers, doing tasks to help elementary teacher while baby naps.
