As the oldest of six siblings, my passion for caring for others began at a young age. I would often consider myself the little “Mother Hen”, helping to bathe them, feed them, and get them dressed, aside from the usual sibling activities. As I got older, I was a paid babysitter for two family friends, ages varying from toddler to pre-teen, and was often counted on to watch younger family members. Although not directly related, I have been a caregiver for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities for over five years and am currently in school for nursing. My past experience with children combined with my current experience with the special needs population ensures that I have the compassion, patience, adaptability, and versatility to make every child feel cared for, special, and safe. I go out of my way to truly get to know each individual and their personalized needs, Read more wants, and goals. I have a zealous passion for enriching the minds of others and for creating a positive sanctuary for your child to grow and thrive. I am comfortable with cooking, cleaning, helping with homework, transportation to activities, and bathing. Please feel free to make any personal requests as well! I am also a huge pet lover!
