Hi, I’m Alex! I am a 27 year-old female residing in New Haven although I also spend a lot of time at my family’s home in Monroe, CT. I have my BA in Psychology and started my master’s degree in clinical social work. For the past 3 years, I have worked as a Mental Health Counselor for children, adolescents, and teens (ages 4-18) and their families. However, I am currently unemployed and am very interested in becoming a babysitter/nanny. I have 7-8 years of paid childcare experience including babysitting experience. Prior to becoming a mental health counselor, I worked as an ABA Therapist for children aged 6-10 with autism and behavioral difficulties. I was also a caregiver for a 3 year-old child with special needs. Throughout high school and my first few years of college, I babysat for several different families with children between the ages of 6 months to Read more 12 years-old. I pride myself in my experience, knowledge, and trustworthiness when it comes to child care. My schedule is flexible as I am available Sunday-Saturday from 8am-11:45pm and I am open to overnight positions as well. I am willing to provide additional services as needed/requested including transportation, meal prep/cooking, cleaning and help around the home, changing and feeding, etc. I am comfortable caring for children of all ages (0-18) and up to 4 children at a time.
