I’ve been lifeguarding and swim instructing kids of various ages for the past 3 years. This job was at a local summer camp, so I was always tasked with keeping kids busy while being fun and safe. I love helping others, and I plan to pursue a career in healthcare (hopefully a PA!) I attend the University of Connecticut, where I spend a lot of time volunteering for the Red Cross blood drives and holding a job at the Center for Students with Disabilities. Working with kids is so rewarding! I hope to have an impact on them that encourages them to make good decisions and follow their dreams.
