Hi! My name is Gillian but everyone says Gill. I am 20 years old and a junior at Southern Connecticut State University, my major is Bilingual Elementary Education. I am fluent in Spanish and English, CPR Certified, have my CNA license, and have my own car. I am in school but my schedule is pretty open. I am the oldest of 3 kids, one having a disability and am also the oldest of 14 cousins, I have been around younger children for as long as I can remember, naturally as the oldest I have cared for most of these kids. Professionally, I have been a mentor at an arts program for kids ages 3-13 for 6 years. In this role I mentor kids, tutor them, care for them and engage in activities with them for hours a day. For the past three years I have been a director of this Read more program and I manage the program, this comes with sometimes being the only person on the schedule with 30 kids of all ages. I have experience with kids of all ages, and have seen and dealt with all the tantrums, bad days, behavior issues, etc you can think of. I truly love kids with all my heart and believe they deserve to be with someone at all times who is invested in them, their learning and their safety.
