I am a twenty year old Junior at the University of New Hampshire and I Major in Communication. I am a very outgoing person with an optimistic attitude and love spending time with kids. I have been a lifeguard at the Country Club of New Canaan for six years and am CPR/AED certified. Working at CCNC was an amazing job specifically because I was able to have fun with the kids and build relationships with them, while making sure they were safe at the same time. Having lifeguard experience, I am also able to provide swimming lessons if necessary. I started babysitting when I was eleven years old when I received my official Babysitter certification through the Red Cross. I also have a brother who is eight years younger than myself, so I learned how to change a diaper and prepare a bottle the year he was born and can Read more work with babies of any age. I nannied for multiple families for months at a time and am able to drive kids to practices, camps, or any events necessary and run errands if need be. Working with kids something I genuinely and something I hopefully plan to do in the future.

At first Sarah agreed to meet and when we were all there waiting for her at the coffee shop I decided to call her to find out if she was okay since she was running late. To my surprise, she told me that she totally forgot and that she would be there in 10 minutes. Let alone that she was already 30 minutes late, we waited another 20 minutes and still no show; that's almost an hour wait time, which was not the best first impression. We ended-up leaving and she sent me a text message saying how sorry she was and that she wants a second chance because she recently moved back. After much deliberation with my wife, we gave her a second chance and she did not show up AGAIN! I was so shocked on how care-free and irresponsible she was and didn't even have the courtesy to let us know she wasn't available or couldn't make it at all. In conclusion, I would not have Sarah work for me in any capacity let alone for my baby.
